As a Part-time Cost Engineer Intern, you will play an essential role within our fast-paced organization supporting our Pre-Construction Management team. You will be expected to deliver results within a deadline-driven environment. The perfect fit for this position is a highly organized self-starter with a great attitude who is willing and able to effectively gather information, create documentation related to bids and projects, and present to team for review and execution. 

Responsibilities

• Reviewing, reading, interpreting construction plans 
• Creating bid template documents 
• Drafting project scopes of work 
• Interpreting information on bid documents to transfer to leveling documents 
• Drafting revisions, addressing questions and editing as necessary for contractor bids 

• Junior or senior in the School of Sustainable Engineering and the Built Environment
• Strong attention to detail 
• Ability to read construction plans and blueprints 
• Google Suite experience desired 
• Strong computer skills
