Implement strategies related to material purchasing, material planning, inventory control, shipping/receiving and stores functions within Honeywell Aerospace to ensure correct supply levels for operation. You are responsible for developing and maintaining strategic inventory processes and resolving material related issues due to supply-based problems, inventory errors or demand changes. You are the liaison of cross functions and internal stakeholders, such as Planning, Operations, and Quality.
The successful candidate must be capable of translating objectives into a deliverable strategy to achieve business goals and create a competitive advantage of the product portfolio. Utilizing and deploying Lean Six Sigma techniques, driving continuous improvement activities and achievement of superior performance across all KPIs (Key Performance Initiatives).
Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and adjust event-based planning forecasts
• Identify cost reduction opportunities
• Solve material related problems
• Ensure timely material ordering
• Escalate shortages and potential shortages
• Understand market trends
• Project management
