Key Responsibilities:

• Design and engineer comprehensive AV systems, including video conferencing, digital signage, sound systems, and control systems, from initial concept through to implementation.
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to identify project requirements, ensuring AV solutions meet or exceed expectations.
• Lead the technical aspect of project design meetings, providing innovative solutions to complex AV challenges.
• Develop detailed AV system schematics, signal flow diagrams, and specifications to guide installation and integration teams.
• Conduct site visits to assess installation environments and ensure compatibility of design with physical spaces.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior design engineers and technical staff, promoting a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in AV design and development.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD software and engineering simulation tools.
• Strong knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and engineering standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
