Summary : Seeking a Quality Control Receiving Inspector to ensure compliance of received products with technical drawings and specifications, and perform various inspections.

Job Requirements :

Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

Review supplier documentation for compliance with purchase order requirements

Perform visual workmanship inspections

Utilize gauges such as calipers, micrometers, thread gages, height stands, indicators for measurement

Operate automated inspection equipment like optical comparators and CMM

Generate detailed inspection records in paper or electronic format

Input receiving inspection certification into collection database

Accept or reject products based on conformity; generate Non-conformance Reports as needed

Manage calibrated inspection tools; maintain calibration records for all equipment

Preferred Skills :

Experience with comparators and CMM machines (strongly desired but not mandatory)

Ability to problem solve; write clearly and logically

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

Understanding geometric tolerances

Job Responsibilities :

Inspect multiple dimensions of parts ranging from 2 to 50 different measurements per part

Determine best-suited inspection tool for particular measurements

Lift up to 50 lbs. as required by the job tasks

Maintain high attention to detail and accuracy of work in a collaborative environment

Additional Requirements :

High School Diploma minimum education requirement

Color vision with 20 / 20 eyesight (corrected)

Must be a US citizen or permanent resident due to ITAR regulations

Pay Details : $26.00 to $30.00 per hour
