Job Title : PainterLocation : South Chesterfield, VA1st shift : 7 am - 3 pmWhat we are looking for : We are looking for a Painter that will be primarily responsible for painting parts in Paint Department.

He / She is responsible for touching up parts as needed to meet quality standards, ensure enough paint is at workstation for color being painted to prevent downtime, testing and adjusting equipment prior to parts arriving at paint boothWhat you will be responsible for in this role : Painting partsPromote and maintains a safe work environment.

Preform preventative maintenance of washer system as required.Utilize a paint gun to paint / powder coat refrigerated display case parts on a suspended conveyor.

Adjust line speed to correspond with parts being painted.Perform color changes following established procedures and time limits.

Inspect completed parts exiting the paint booth for defects and notify lead / supervisor as required.Utilize a tape measure, reading to the nearest 1 / 16".

Maintain work area in clean, safe and organized manner.Effectively interact and communicate with paint line team leaders and team members.

Assume other activities and responsibilities from time-to-time as directed by supervision.What are the basic qualifications?

High School Diploma or GEDPrevious experience in a manufacturing painting position or powder coating experience is preferred.

Knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processesTo be a great fit for the role : Organizational and time management skills.

Team oriented individual who is flexible and adaptable to an ever-changing, fast paced and complex environment.Ability to plan and organize and to set priorities in order to meet deadlines and ensure customer satisfactionMust be able to follow instructions and exercise good judgment.
