Summary: Under the supervision of the Manager, Business Analysts, the IT Operations Support Analystis responsible for scheduling and monitoring system jobs, performing system updates and configurations, as well as escalating and documenting issues. This position requires strong attention to detail.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Schedules and monitors system batches daily, including weekends
• Follows established timeframes, proactively engages stakeholders to determine and publish the monthly batch calendar, and adjusts schedules due to ad hoc requests in both Production and Non-Production environments
• Updates system factor tables
• Updates security access
• Supports operations of the applications
• Triggers and monitors file transmissions
• Ensures timely reporting of all production processing problems related to supported applications
• Accurately analyzes and documents instances of application failures
• Supports applications on-site and remotely as needed, including on weekends and off hours
• Maintains support documentation and procedure manuals
• Tests the applications and documents test cases, test results, including defect descriptions
• Establishes, develops and maintains positive effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and vendors
• Performs other tasks as assigned by management/supervisory staff

Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• At least 2 years of work experience with batch scheduling and calendar planning
• Strong attention to detail; a high degree of accuracy is required
• Experience with user security administration, setting up and terminating users, creating and applying security roles, custom security access, and familiarity with security concepts
• Problem solving skills
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Very good organizational skills
• Ability to learn and adapt to change
• Ability to work in a team oriented environment

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or higher from accredited college in Computer Science, Business or a related field preferred. Will consider equivalent experience.
