What You'll Do:

As one of our Local Delivery Drivers, you'll be responsible for the efficient handling and transportation of a variety of millwork products, including doors, cabinets, windows, lumber and molding. Your essential functions will include:

• Loading and unloading delivery trucks at jobsites throughout the Greater Des Moines metro area.
• Lifting, pulling, pushing and loading materials into bobtails or trailers.
• Securing loads using straps, poles or ropes.
• Meeting heavy physical demands, occasionally lifting up to 100lbs, 50lbs frequently, and 20lbs constantly.
• Representing Moehl in a professional manner by providing friendly and courteous customer service with each customer interaction.
• Completing accurate delivery paperwork for submission to the Warehouse Manager.
• Maintaining a clean work area and well-maintained company vehicles to ensure safety.
• Safely operating company trucks in various terrains and traffic conditions.
• Maintaining a clean driving record.
• Conducting daily safety checks, attending safety meetings, and following safety protocols.
• Performing other duties as requested by the Warehouse and Transportation Managers.
• Willingness to work overtime when needed.

What We're Looking For

While prior experience as a Delivery Driver is a plus, it's your commitment, strong work ethic, and ability to go the extra mile that we value most. A Class A or Class B license is preferred, but your dedication to safety and excellence is what truly matters to us.
