Building Brighter Futures Learning Academy is Hiring a Child Care Teacher Near Oklahoma, OK

{{ORGANIZATION}} is looking for childcare teachers to join our team!

This is a full-time and part-time positions, required to work at least 4 days during the week.

Job Summary:

The Childcare Provider works in partnership with the Lead Childcare Teacher and the Lead Teacher to provide a quality of care that meets or exceeds professional standards for development and learning. The Childcare Teacher is responsible for implementing a lesson plan for each child in accordance with the goals and objectives of the program. The Childcare Teacher works with the Lead Teacher to ensure that each child is meeting his or her own individual development through the use of age appropriate activities. The Childcare Teacher also works with the Lead Teacher to review each child’s daily schedule and ensure that all children are in their designated timeslot, toileting and cleaning duties are completed, and the classroom is clean. The Childcare Teacher must communicate with parents regarding their child’s progress, work with their child when behavioral issues arise, and support parents in removing themselves from situations when it is not necessary. The Childcare Teacher must be able to maintain professional standards while being supervised by a Lead Teacher or Lead Teacher.

Qualifications:
High school diploma required, Bachelor's degree preferred

  • Minimum of 6 months of experience working with children preferred
  • Knowledge of child development, childcare, early childhood education, and or education preferred
  • OSBI Background Check
  • CPR/First Aid and Safe Sleep Registry with CECPD
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with parents, children, and fellow staff members
  • Strong multitasking skills and ability to work alone or within a team
