The Building Blocks Program Resource Navigator focuses on supporting early childhood programs in navigating the resources available within Indiana’s State childcare system.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and/orExperience:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree required in Early Childhood Education, Child Development,Consumer and Family Sciences, Adult Education, Social Work, Counseling, or related field
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in an early childhood setting, a CCR&R agency, or an agency providing community support services

DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES:

Essential Functions:

• Facilitate access to education, training and technical assistance for quality childcare, business operations and community resources, and support for programs
• Act as a liaison for programs to community resources, coalitions, and programs
• Provide support to professional development systems and related opportunities that increase quality of care, including: higher education, credentialing and specialized training
• Provide support and awareness on how to utilize the State’s Learning Management System (LMS)
• Build positive and goal-oriented relationships between early childhood professionals, families, and children

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 per year
