Buffalo Wild Wings is Hiring an Integrated Marketing Communications Specialist - Buffalo Wild Wings Near Atlanta, GA

As a core member of the Integrated Marketing Communications team, this candidate will be supporting execution and influencing how the brand shows up in culture across activations and social media.
This full-time position reports to the Sr. Manager, Integrated Marketing Communications (Activations & Social), and sits within the Integrated Marketing Communications group of the Buffalo Wild Wings marketing team. The role is located at the Inspire Brands Global Support Center in Atlanta, GA, with the expectation to be onsite 80% of the time.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Social Media

  • Partner with the internal and agency social teams to develop and execute Planned Social.
  • Ensure social content is laddering back to the social strategy and brand guidelines, tone, look, and feel.
  • Brief the agency on content needs and outline types of content, and moments for the monthly calendar.
  • Execute the right sized budget for content needs.

Real-Time Social & Community Management/Engagement

  • Identify cultural trends, particularly on TikTok and emerging platforms.
  • Identify opportunities in sports and culture to activate which can help the brand get noticed.

Engage

  • Manage brand social channels’ responses to moments and comments which can amplify brand visibility on social.

Content Management & Posting

  • Post content for brand social channels.
  • Have the ability to write social copy for posts.

Reporting

  • Collaborate with the Brand Manager and Social Media on monthly, quarterly, and annual social performance reports.

Agency Management/Partnership

  • Execution of briefs.
  • Direction, feedback, and collaboration.
  • Partnering to develop work that meets KPIs and breaks through in culture.

Internal Partnership

  • Work within the Activations team to have a pulse on the culture, and identify and execute opportunities to activate.
  • Work with the cross-functional team from Brand to Operations to Category Management and others to achieve common goals.

Administrative

  • Assist with budget, invoices, and vendor set-up.
  • Coordinate various needs such as food deliveries for content partners, shipping items etc.

Project Management

  • Is responsible for visibility and management of project milestones and steps either internally or in partnership with agencies.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4-Year Degree in in advertising, communications, marketing, or public relations required.
  • Minimum 2 years of digital/social media marketing experience with brands or agencies.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, or ABILITIES

  • Strong writing experience and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience developing creative and engaging social media strategies.
  • Ability to oversee, plan, and deliver content across different platforms.
  • Displays knowledge and understanding of social media platforms.
  • Culturally dialed-in social native - lives and breathes Culture across Sports, Music, Lifestyle, and Entertainment. Ideally has a strong understanding of sports.
  • Solid understanding of agency creative/production process and tactics required.
  • Goal-oriented, organized, self-motivated, creative, have strong attention to detail and have the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team.
