BARTENDER

POSITION SUMMARY
Catch-a-Fire Pizza is now hiring for a full time bartender. We are seeking a passionate hospitality professional who is responsible for ensuring that all guests have the highest quality experience possible. Part time hours are also available. This position will require working evenings and weekends.

Qualifications
  • 2 years bartending experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • ServSafe Alcohol Certification (or must be completed within the first 90 days of employment)
  • Cicerone Level 1 certification (or must be completed within the first 90 days of employment)

  • Dependable attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to work with professionalism with all staff and guests at all times; professional appearance and demeanor
  • Elevated knowledge of all beer and wine options and the ability to make recommendations
  • Must be able to thrive and excel in a fast-paced environment and consistently uphold very high standards
  • Must be able to maintain a positive attitude at all times and demonstrate teamwork
  • Technology aptitude for working with POS and digital register
  • Attention to detail, ability to work unsupervised while maintaining safety and quality standards, and confidence to speak up and act when safety and quality are compromised.

Responsibilities
  • Greeting all guests immediately and helping guests find seats in the bar area as needed
  • Taking guests orders and preparing alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages for bar and dining patrons in a timely manner
  • Answering guests questions about the menu, providing outstanding customer service and making recommendations
  • Preparing checks and taking payments with speed and accuracy
  • Interacting with guests, continuously checking on their needs, serving guests drinks, and taking food orders all while paying extreme attention to details; responding in a proactive and friendly manner to any guest concerns to ensure satisfaction.
  • Working as a team with our FOH staff; following company policies & procedures
  • Completing opening and closing duties to allow for a successful service (cleaning, organizing, restocking, completing closing paperwork, etc.)
  • Keeping bar, lounge and patios areas clean, stocked and organized before, during and after service; pre-bussing, bussing and sanitizing throughout shift
  • Ensure that alcohol awareness procedures are in place and notifying the manager of any guest incidents; knowledgeable of local and state liquor laws; monitors guests alcohol consumption to ensure a safe experience.
  • Completes side work duties, including polishing glassware and silverware, cleaning floors, sanitizing tables, and maintaining cleanliness of the bar.

  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus

In addition to our repertoire of pizzas, we have an extensive catering menu and can customize it to fit any creative vision. Catering is available from our caf for parties large or small in either of MadTrees two spacious event rooms. Our newest restaurant opened June of 2020 at 9290 Kenwood Road, in Blue Ash, Ohio. The Blue Ash location features an expansive bar, outdoor lounge & patio seating as well as a Bottle Shop with a thoughtfully curated selection of unique wines and craft beers.
