Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Host/Cashier. As a Host/Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent guest service, helping seat guests, and handling cash transactions. If you have a passion for hospitality and enjoy working in a fast-paced restaurant environment, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor
- Manage timely seating of guests
- Provide accurate wait times and communicate any delays to guests
- Answer phone calls and assist with inquiries
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process cash transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand and lobby area
- Assist servers with seating arrangements and table turnovers
Skills:
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Strong hospitality and guest relations skills
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting preferred
- Familiarity with Aloha POS system is a plus
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
