POSITION:
The Superintendent of Schools, Dr.Tonja M. Williams, is interested in receiving applications from qualified candidates for the position of:
SUMMER SPORTS CAMP COACH
SOCCER CAMP
JOB SUMMARY:
Facilitate sports specific skills and drills designed to teach fundamentals of the sport and to improve the knowledge, competency, and skills of all participants. Candidates are also required to take daily attendance and track and report student data. Monday-Thursday, 4-day summer program running 3.5 hours per day from July 8th – July 11th 2024 from 8:45am to 12:15pm.APPLICATION:

CERTIFICATIONS:
In accordance with the Regulations of the Commissioner of Education Section 135.4:
Potential candidates must meet the FIRST AIDE/CPR/AED requirement prior to applying to coach.
A person who holds a valid certificate to teach physical education may coach any sport in any school, but first must meet the first aid/CPR requirement prior to coaching.

One-year Soccer experience preferred, preferably working with adolescence and young adults. Experience working with varied fitness levels and ages preferred. Coaching experience preferred. Experience working with adolescents in an educational setting preferred.
Must possess the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with school administrators, parents, and students.
