The Buffalo Niagara Convention Center in Downtown Buffalo has an opening in the general labor/event houseman department. Person will work as part of a team in the day to day operations of events at the facility during weddings, conference, and trade shows. Our property features a wide range of events.

Responsibilities

• setting tables/chairs
• installing dance floors
• setting stages
• general building maintenance (empty trash, mopping, painting, snow removal)

Qualifications

• must be able to routinely lift 50lbs during an 8 hour shift
• repetitive motion
• attention to detail
• neat appearance
• work well with others on team
• outgoing personality to work with the public.
