We are looking for NYS certified PCA/ HHA or CNA's to support our clients in their everyday lives. If you're a compassionate, positive person who isn't afraid to work hard, then this is a job for you. Experienced in housekeeping tasks and caring for the elderly or sick will make you a strong candidate.

This Job Is Ideal for Someone Who Is:

• Dependable -- more reliable than spontaneous
• People-oriented -- enjoys interacting with people and working on group projects
• Detail-oriented -- takes pride in their work with a focus on the details

Responsibilities

• Ensure clients receive their medication on time
• Support clients who can’t move on their own
• Help clients dress, bathe, eat etc.
• Assist clients with physical therapy exercises
• Cook meals according to the customer’s restrictions
• Help customers with their shopping
• Do necessary housekeeping to maintain a clean environment
• Provide emotional support
• Inform physicians or supervisors about uncommon events
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Qualifications:

• At least 18 years of age.
• PCA/ HHA or CNA certification
• Have a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick and elderly.
• Ability to carry out verbal and written directions.
• Caregiving/ Direct Patient Care: 1 year (Preferred)
