Buena Vista Family Dentistry is Hiring a Dental Assistant Near Buena Vista, CO

We're Hiring! Are you looking for a position that will allow you to use all of your skills in a FUN, growing environment?

Seeking an outgoing and friendly team player. Must be great with people and have excellent communication skills.

Our patients always come first, and we strive to build relationships with them and our team!

Essential Duties:

  • Record treatment information on the patient's chart
  • Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
  • Provide customer service support to patients
  • Prepare all treatment rooms
  • Review the patient’s medical history, progress from the previous visit, and the scheduled treatment plan with each patient.
  • Take impressions
  • Fabricate temporaries
  • Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to take radiographs, including FMX, Pano, anterior PAs, and intraoral photos.
  • Computer proficiency, Dentrix, preferred.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with management, staff, and patients.
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, and complete tasks in a timely and independent manner.
  • Minimum 1-year dental assistant experience
  • EDDA certification or training is an asset

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
