Shift is Mon - Fri 6am-2:30pm

Position:

Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, vendors, trucks and other persons. Ensure all persons have appropriate identifications and are accounted for before locking up at the end of shift. Report of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences. Patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.

Major Area of Responsibility:

• Unlock and lock front entrance gates, and key doors on main buildings.
• Check and transfer messages to appropriate manager/department
• Answer telephone calls, take messages, transfer calls and provide directions to plant
• Investigate parking lot disturbances
• Monitor employee turnstile
• Perform maintenance duties as assigned
• Other duties as assigned
• At end of shift ensure facility premises is vacant before locking up for the night

Education & ExperiencePhysical Demands

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Sitting/standing for long periods of times
• Work in outdoor conditions
• Perform maintenance duties (mowing, baler, trash pick up)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
