At Buddies Behavioral Services, we help individuals of all ages, including adults, to develop critical life skills. We provide all training and the opportunity to work with both ABA and DSPD clients in a variety of settings, including homes, clinic, day treatment center, and group homes. We are seeking a student working toward their certification as a BCBA to join our team. Individuals who thrive in this role are those interested in learning how to work with clients of diverse ages in diverse settings. Your supervising BCBAs all have more than five years of experience in the field.
Responsibilities:
- With BCBA oversight, providing support and training to behavior technicians
- With BCBA oversight, writing treatment programs, including behavior plans and skill acquisition programs
- With BCBA oversight, training parents to implement behavioral procedures
- With BCBA oversight, conducting assessments and writing client progress reports
- May work directly with clients, including data collection, implementation of behavior intervention plans and skill acquisitions programs
Required Qualifications:
- Enrolled in a Master's Degree program and pursuing BCBA certification
- At least 18 years of age
- Must be able to pass a background check
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification and experience as a Registered Behavior Technician
- Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities, particularly those with autism
- Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis principles
