We have an opportunity for a motivated individual to fill the role of Human Resources Generalist . In this position, the successful candidate will be responsible for handling a variety of HR tasks including new employee onboarding, administration and monitoring of benefits and leaves of absence. training and development efforts, and supporting the establishment of employee engagement programs.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate HR compliance efforts including leaves of absence, federal and multi-state reporting, and benefits notifications
- Assist with the new employee onboarding process
- Work internally and liaise with outside partners (benefits brokers, HRIS/Payroll company, etc.) to support and manage day-to day HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, recruiting, employee relations, and compensation
- Support HR reporting using metrics in Paylocity, Greenhouse ATS, and other systems
- Assist with HR projects including career pathing, launching a learning and development program, and DE&I initiatives
- Stay up to date with changing local, state, and federal requirements to ensure all policies and practices remain current
- Take on or assist with other HR projects as needed
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or other related field
- 3-5 years' Human Resources experience
- Multi-state HR experience is preferred
- Experience with employee learning and development programs
- Familiarity with Paylocity preferred
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite
- Excellent communication skills
Compensation is based on factors including level of experience, skillset, qualifications, and location.
