Buckley Associates Inc. is seeking a Corporate Recruiter to join our team. As a Northeast distributor of top-quality HVAC equipment and product solutions from the most innovative equipment manufacturers in the industry, Buckley Associates Inc. is looking for a skilled Recruiter who will be responsible for devising and executing effective recruitment and staffing plans to attract a competent and diverse pool of candidates for Buckley Associates Inc. Key positions included an emphasis on mechanical sales engineers and skilled trades positions.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.

Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.

Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.

Creates job posting and advertisement processes. Works closely with hiring managers to generate content.

Maintains recruitment web page postings.

Source and attract quality candidates by creating a large external network, social media, and current employees to obtain quality referrals.

Screens applications and selects qualified candidates to present to the hiring manager.

Schedules screening and interviews; oversees the preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.

Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.

Collaborates with the hiring manager and human resource director during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.

Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, regulations, and company policies.

Attending and participating in college career fairs and pursuing vocational schools and military outreach opportunities.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Experience as a Technical Recruiter, knowledgeable about Engineering & Skilled Trades roles (e.g., Welders, Equipment Assemblers, etc.)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.

Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for various roles.

Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.

Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.

Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Ability to work in an environment with minimal supervision and consistently meet or exceed goals and objectives.

Must be able to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma. A bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or a related field is a plus, or equivalent work experience is required.

At least two to five years of experience managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process is highly preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
