Buckeye Home Health Care is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant for Cincinnati and the surrounding area who can help improve the well being of our patients and their families and has the heart and skills to work with home bound patients.

Responsibilites:

  • Participates in the ongoing evaluation of patient's functional status as delegated by the registered occupational therapist.
  • Participates in teaching new skills or retraining patients in once familiar daily acitivies that have been lost due to injury or illness, in accordance with organization policy.
  • Mantains appropriate clinical records, clinical notes, and reports to the registered occupational therapist any changes in patient's condition.
  • Follows treatment program and goals for improved patient function as established by the registered occupational therapist.
  • Attends and contributes to inservices, case conferences, and other meetings as required.
