Buckeye Partners is currently seeking a Terminal Specialist with 5 years of Pipeline or Terminal Operations or equivalent experience in the Oil & Gas Industry to join our growing team!
Role Summary :
Ensure that all terminal, pipeline, marine and / or rail (as applicable) operations are performed in a safe, reliable and environmentally conscious manner and that operations remain in compliance with the Company mission, policy, and direction.
A Terminal Specialist I may be responsible for multiple field locations or a field location with a larger asset size or complex operations.
Primary job responsibilities include leading day-to-day activities related to the receipt, storage, inventory control and delivery of liquid petroleum products for the assigned field location(s), ensuring financial accountability for the assigned field location(s), responding to emergency response notifications when required, managing employee relations and payroll issues, and ensuring a safe working environment for everyone within the assigned field location(s).
Responsibilities & Essential Functions include :
A Terminal Specialist may be responsible for multiple field locations or a field location with an extensive asset size or a location with complex operations
Be safe, knowledgeable, and proficient at all Lead / Head Terminal Operator tasks below :
Terminal Operations. Overseeing the maintenance and repair of the terminal loading rack and equipment associated with terminal operations;
keeping the facility in good working order and acceptable appearance and maintaining the facility to meet or exceed company standards.
and ensure timely and accurate information dissemination.

Some locations may be subject to the port security regulations set forth by the Transportation Security Administration and United States Coast Guard.
Employment at certain locations may be contingent upon obtaining state specific licenses and / or a Transportation Worker Identification Credential.
