We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Full-Time or Part-Time Registered Nurse to join our team at Buckeye Forest at Fairfield. As an RN, you will play a crucial role in the clinical excellence of our skilled nursing home, rehabilitation, and assisted-living facility, specializing in elderly care.

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing nursing care to our residents. The ideal candidate will have a passion for elder care and a desire to make a difference in the lives of others.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a Kindness Concierge, ensuring exceptional service and support to residents and their families.
• Provide direct patient care to residents, including wound care, assess and monitor conditions, symptoms, and changes in health status.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Provide leadership and guidance to LPNs and CNAs
• Compliance with reporting policies and documentation
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide the best possible care for residents
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
• Ensure continued excellence and engaged employee culture with professional and respectful interactions among all staff

Experience Requirement: Licensed RN experience is required. One (1) year of inpatient experience in a geriatric environment is preferred.

License Requirements:

• Current Registered Nursing License to practice in Ohio is required.
• Valid CPR certification

Abilities:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills (Must read and write in English language)
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and provide efficient patient care in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to walk, stand for long periods of time and lift and transfer residents
