Director of Nursing

Job Summary

The Director of Nursing (DON) is responsible for the overall nursing operations of the facility. The ideal candidate will have a passion for elder care, a strong leadership and management background, and a commitment to providing quality care to our residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to the nursing staff
• Ensure that all residents receive the highest quality of care
• Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures
• Monitor the nursing budget and ensure that resources are used efficiently
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure that the needs of residents are met
• Represent the nursing department to the administration and to the community

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
• Current RN license in Ohio
• Valid CPR certification
• At least 9 years of experience as a Registered Nurse
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
