The following position is to join our Corporate or Research Center Team:

RTX Enterprise Application Services (EAS) Team has an exciting opportunity in Enterprise Digital Business Value as a Business Management and Financial Liaison Lead (Associate Director, Business Systems and Transformation). 

Individual Contributor Role.

Remote Opportunity or Hybrid - CityLine Offices, Richardson Texas

Team: You will be partnering with ES Finance to bring together the way we run our business with the necessary financial acumen to help us accomplish our business and financial objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

• Serve as the focal point and liaison within the EAS organization to partner with ES Finance on financial analysis, reporting, business management, annual operating planning (AOP), long range planning (LRP) and monthly operational reviews
• Partnering with ES Finance in gathering data out of various systems, performing analysis, and reporting results (including headcount, expenses, labor reporting, variances, EAC forecasts etc.)
• Help manage large quantities of data in order to create reports for management and create continuous monitoring controls where possible.
• Analytic support of monthly financial closing and review Division Direct chargeback process for Application Service areas
• Analyze performance to plan and identify risk & opportunities through analysis on a monthly basis
• Status Capital plan and forecast analysis; work with accounting to move appropriate assets into service. 
• Possible Travel domestically up to 10%.

Required Qualifications: 

Typically a Minimum of 12 years relevant work experience in Business Management and Finance in a large corporate setting and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling in lieu of degree; Advanced Degree and 10 years related work experience.

• Experience managing finances/monthly expense reporting for Digital Application Service areas
• Experience with SAP financial systems
• Experience and ability to Understand and explain the various cost components at the Cost element level for various charges specific to Digital and application support that come into Cost centers
• Experience managing and forecasting Software, Hardware and labor costs for Digital service areas
• Experience with Finance projects and the ability to work simultaneous projects
• Advanced skills using Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Collaboration and communication (i.e., presentations, memos, white papers) to multiple levels (including executive) in the organization.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Enterprise IT services financial and business models including demand models
• Strong interpersonal skills enabling them to deal effectively with employees, internal and external auditors, and management.
• Ability to take initiative working effectively within a team or individually with little direct supervision
• Strong analytical skills
• Experience analyzing large amounts of data
• Audit support experience
• Knowledge of government contracting

Required Education:

Typically a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related discipline or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling in lieu of degree.

The salary range for this role is 139,000 USD - 277,000 USD; however, RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
