Job Summary:

RMD Logistics is seeking a 3rd shift Logistics Professional. This position has overall responsibility for a Warehousing/Pack-Ship and Receiving operations, help support a team consisting of 6-10 employees. The individual in this role will support area leads & employees in a fast-paced dynamic environment to maintain and meet organization goals and objectives for RMD.

This role requires daily interaction with other cross-business teams in RMD to maintain and meet organizational goals and objectives. These groups primarily include the various manufacturing cells at RMD, as well as engineering groups and other RMD sites, production control, finance and the program implementing continuous improvement opportunities. This position supports deployment of logistics operations strategy, control systems, tools, and metrics to accurately measure progress, identify root causes of failure modes, production capacity, quality and staffing issues and develop/implement corrective action plans.

Responsibilities to Anticipate

• Workforce planning and forecasting
• Maintain audit preparedness
• Monitor and resolve aging work
• Work with other Logistics departments to share resources and cross train workforce
• Create and track support tickets for systems/equipment maintenance
• Maintaining timekeeping and overtime records
• Employee training, coaching, and support
• Monitor ordering of operational supplies and equipment maintenance

Qualifications You Must Have

• Bachelor’s degree OR in absence of a degree, 2 years of relevant experience is required and a high school diploma or equivalent

• Experience in production/manufacturing/operations or similar environment
• Experience utilizing business systems and tools that aid in managing labor, processes.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for security clearance
