Job Purpose:

BTIG is seeking a Salesperson to join the Prime Brokerage team in our New York or San Francisco office. The primary responsibility of the Prime Brokerage Sales role is to market the BTIG Prime Brokerage platform to new and existing hedge funds and family offices. This individual will also cross-sell all other areas of BTIG’s business offerings.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Pitch Prime Brokerage service to qualified leads
• Collect appropriate due diligence and “Know Your Customer” information for each new lead to ensure suitability
• Cross-sell all divisions within BTIG
• Establish and maintain relationships with Hedge Fund service provider community (i.e. attorneys, administrators, auditors, outsource technology firms, outsource compliance firms, outsource COO firms, other prime brokers etc.)

Requirements & Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of direct Prime Brokerage sales experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of Global Markets and Financial Instruments
• Self-starter with proven ability to multitask and prioritize workload
• Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Personable and professional demeanor
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs (i.e. Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, etc.)
• Series 7 and 63 licenses required
