We are seeking a skilled and experienced Traffic Controller to join our team. As a Traffic Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient flow of traffic in construction zones or other areas where traffic control is necessary. ```Responsibilities```
- Direct traffic and control the movement of vehicles in construction zones or other designated areas
- Set up and maintain traffic control devices, such as cones, signs, and barricades
- Communicate with drivers and provide clear instructions on how to navigate through the controlled area
- Monitor traffic flow and make adjustments as needed to ensure safety and minimize congestion
- Report any incidents or issues to supervisors or appropriate authorities
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to protect yourself and others on the job site

```Skills```
To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills:
- Proficiency in operating various heavy equipment, such as Caterpillar, dump trucks, graders, bulldozers, front loader trucks, backhoes, and loaders
- Knowledge of paving techniques and experience in working with asphalt or concrete materials
- Strong understanding of traffic control procedures and regulations
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with drivers and other team members
- Ability to work well under pressure and make quick decisions in high-stress situations
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate placement of traffic control devices
- Physical stamina to withstand long hours of standing and exposure to outdoor elements

Pay: $18.00 - $40.00 per hour
