This position is a working supervisor in our Powder Coating Department.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Oversee activities of manufacturing personnel by communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring and appraising job results.
• Monitor and maintain material and product flow through manufacturing processes and ensure the quality of all manufactured products. Works on R&D projects.
• Setups the automated production line equipment between runs.
• Monitor and input daily in-process statistics and metrics into the ERP system.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production problems by working as part of a team using a systematic and process-based approach.
• Assume duties of department manager in their absence.

Previous experience in wood finishing/powder coating in an industrial or manufacturing environment is preferred but not required. Must have an eye for quality finishes and color matching. Previous management experience preferred but not required.

Pay is commensurate with experience.
