BTAS is Hiring an Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) Production Analyst Near Wpafb, OH

Position: Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) Production Analyst

Location: Wright Patterson AFB, OH (WPAFB)
Security Clearance Required: Top Secret/SCI
Position Type/Standard Work Hours: Full-time/40 hours per week
Summary/Objective:
This position will support the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) by conducting Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) analysis.
Primary Responsibilities:

Plan and conduct OPIR intelligence exploitation and production.
Analyze sensor derived OPIR data and produce applicable written and graphic reports.
Support development of new applications and processes.
Support multiple phases of OPIR Tasking, Collection, Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (TCPED).
Complete rapid tasks as needed.
Maintain and/or manage multiple databases.
Operate independently or as part of an intelligence production team.
Prepare and present briefings on analysis findings and assist in task planning.

Required Education and/or Experience:

High School degree and military technical training or equivalent.
1-3 years of OPIR experience.
General understanding of OPIR analysis and/or production.
Effective writing and communications skills.

Required Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor's degree and 5 years of OPIR experience.
Computer programming languages.
Data management.
Familiar with ArcGIS, Google Earth, SOCET GXP, COMET, Remote View, MatLAB, MIST, ENVI, AGITK, and/or GETS.
NASIC production experience.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position does not supervise the work of others.

Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

Physical Demands:
Must be able to operate a computer and other standard office equipment. Must be able to remain in a stationary position, 80%.

Travel:
Very little.
