Duties and Responsibilities:

• As an Estimator you will be responsible for estimating multiple types of telecommunications projects with the emphasis on Data, Voice, Fiber, Security, Access Control and Wireless.

• Knowledge of BICSI and NEC codes is a must.

• Must be able to read and understand architectural drawings and documents.

• Must have experience with building process and codes, soliciting bids, communicating with GC’s, Electricals and Management on evaluating the bid.

• You will be required to create and maintain accurate and complete documentation on all projects.

• Must have knowledge of industry manufactures.

• Must be able to report and collaborate with Project Managers and Management Teams.

• Must have knowledge of RFP process and follow through.

• Must have ability to put together a complete and professional bid package and deliver on time.

• Must be able to follow up and maintain relationships with GC’s, Customers and Electricals. • Must be able to attend site walks as needed to perform this duty.

• Strong understanding of adhering to deadlines.

• Perform weekly follow-up calls and communicate that information to the Management Team.

• Conduct Teams meetings with clients and Management

Qualifications:

• At least three years of experience in the Low Voltage industry.

• BICSI or manufacturer certifications are preferred but will accept years of experience.

• Self-motivated and take pride in your work.

• Stable work history.

• Complete understanding of construction plans, specifications and contracts.

• Ability to develop long-term relationships with clients.

• Proficient in Microsoft Suite and Blue Beam software is a must.

• Ability to collaborate and communicate with sales and management teams.

• Must be able to pass a drug test and background check prior to employment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
