We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as an Innovation Projects Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating Innovation Proof of Concept (POC) activities while communicating with internal stakeholders about POC progress. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with POC stakeholders to define POC goals, objectives, and deliverables. Oversee the approved POC Stagegate process ensuring key deliverables are obtained prior to advancement of the Stagegate process. Assess and work with the broader Innovation organization to pool similar experiments and POC’s reducing POC redundancy. Work with POC owners and assist in the development POC plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and task assignments. Monitor POC progress, identify potential risks, and proactively take necessary actions to ensure timely completion. Facilitate effective communication and coordination among project team members, ensuring everyone is aligned and informed. Prepare regular status reports, highlighting key milestones, issues, and recommendations. Continuously identify areas of process improvement to further develop BSI’s Innovation process and pipeline. Work closely with the Innovation Leadership Team and respective functions to report out monthly indicators, identifying risk and consulting the team on synergies. Run idea generation and submission campaigns for the Innovation pipeline. Prepare and run pipeline meetings to a regular cadence. Produce and maintain all team reporting and associated KPIs. Ensure that all project pipeline initiatives have well-defined and properly resourced project plans that are communicated and visible. Manage internal communication plans to ensure POC updates are being communicated throughout the business. Lead implementation of appropriate collaboration and communication tools for the Innovation team Maintain BSI Innovation presence on BSI intranet and other platforms. Foster positive relationships with internal stakeholders, project team members, and external partners. What we are looking for: Education/Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Innovation, Computer Science, Engineering, Management, or a related field Master's degree is a plus. Knowledge, Experience & Skills Significant experience in project coordination or management, preferably in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data. Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner. Detail-oriented with exceptional organisational and time management abilities. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Familiarity with strategic planning and business analysis methodologies is a plus. Derive and execute innovative strategies for the adaption of novel technologies. A strong appreciation of Innovation processes and problem-solving (Desirable) A general awareness of disruptive technologies including AI, Data Science, Blockchain, Augmented Reality, RPA’s (Desirable) A passion for identifying value in disruptive technologies. What we offer! The salary for this position can range from $91,000 - $100,000 annually.
