As a Training Content Designer, your role will be critical in designing and creating innovative, high quality training courses for commercial use by the BSI Training Academy. The role includes both the development of new courses and the maintenance of existing courses through updates and revisions.

The scope of the position encompasses all methods of delivery, including (but not limited to): instructor- led training, virtual training, eLearning, video learning, distance learning and blended learning.

The focus of the learning will be BSI’s key product areas including: quality management, health, safety and wellbeing, information security, medical devices, business continuity among others. You will work collaboratively with your BSI colleagues, including internal and external subject matter experts, to contribute to the Academy’s new product development.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities

You will be responsible for ensuring that new learning products are built to a high standard and in line with BSI’s accelerated learning principles and brand guidelines. You will also play a big role in enhancing existing training courses to bring them in line with these learning principles. You will report to the Training Operations manager and work collaboratively with colleagues in Canada, the UK and our Global Training Team to deliver training courses in line with the pipeline project plan.

Your role will also enable you to support your colleagues, Digital Content Designers, in designing, building and testing new eLearning training courses. You will share learning and best practice with our Global Training Team to support the adoption of pilot initiatives by our Global Training Team.

The salary for this position can range from $51,900.00 to $71,390.00 annually; actual compensation is based on various factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s competencies, level of experience, education, location, divisional budget and internal peer compensation comparisons
