We need someone with strong
design skills and who specifically wants to work in residential. The
applicant for Project Architect, means they are licensed Architect. This
is not necessarily required, and Sr. Job Captain / Project Manager is OK, but
they need to also be a good designer, not just be able to generate technical
drawings, which most of his descriptions say “construction document drawings.”
This is a great skill and is necessary, but can’t be the only strength.
This is why I’ve struggled with recruiters in the past that don’t really
understand our industry.
They need to have experience
designing single family residential architecture. At least 2 consecutive
years, more is preferred.
Other architecture experience
is good too, but more in the smaller scale commercial (not high rise or big
stuff)
Passionate about and enjoy
residential / small scale commercial architecture.
ArchiCAD Preferred / Revit OK
and Project Management skills (people and projects)
Fast-paced yet personal work
environment.
Must be willing and able to
work in person and on site; you clarified this, thank you.
