Position Overview
The Production Supervisor – Injection Molding plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily activities of the molding department and its production leaders. This role involves monitoring quality, efficiency, safety protocols, and addressing any operational issues that may arise.

Primary Responsibilities

• Directly supervise and train manufacturing personnel, ensuring adherence to proper procedures and safety regulations.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and optimize space utilization on the production floor to uphold organization.
• Manage production staff scheduling and associated paperwork, including production reports, attendance records, and equipment inventory.
• Document and report production and personnel data as required, utilizing the ERP system (IQMS) to enhance asset utilization and plant performance.
• Monitor and track product and raw material inventory, analyzing and resolving any discrepancies that arise.
• Identify equipment improvements or repairs and initiate appropriate work orders.
• Set and maintain objectives and goals aligned with standard molding machine cycles to maximize machine uptime and minimize downtime.
• Ensure employee awareness of safety requirements, company policies, and procedures, holding employees accountable for compliance.
• Actively engage as a hands-on floor supervisor, addressing and resolving employee inquiries and concerns.

Required Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is mandatory.
• Previous experience as a production supervisor or technical lead in the injection molding industry is essential.
• Proficient understanding of warehouse operations and management principles.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to delegate tasks effectively.
• Excellent leadership qualities and organizational capabilities.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, nights, and weekends.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
