Registered Nurse (RN) Job Opportunity:

This opportunity is full-time at 36 hours per week, offers full benefits and a convenient day or night shift schedule (7am-7pm or 7pm-7am). There is opportunity for overtime and to cover various shifts if interested.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • The Nurse is responsible for the delivery of quality nursing care for all patients on RTC or Acute units
  • The Nurse is in charge of the unit activities for each shift.
  • The Nurse supervises the Mental Health Technicians and LPN’s working on the unit, administers prescribed medications and provides medication and other educational groups.
  • Performs admission assessments
  • Monitor of the Milieu and all restrictive intervention to ensure safety and welfare of the patients

Registered Nurse Job Requirements:

  • RN license to practice in North Carolina. Emergency NC RN license accepted.

Physical requirements:

Medium Work – Exerting 20 – 50 pounds of force occasionally or 10 – 25 pounds of force frequently or an amount greater than negligible and up to 10 pounds of force frequently or an amount greater than negligible and up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of these for light work. Requires walking or standing to a significant degree.
