Job Description

BryceTech is looking for a candidate who will be supporting a DoD client with a variety of needs including acquisition, program management, technology assessment, demonstration support, and testing and evaluation.

Performance Based Tasks Required

  • The contractor shall be capable of working independently, able to perform as a principle Point of Contact (POC) and provide leadership to given assignments.
  • The contractor shall coordinate fielding activities with the gaining services, which may require traveling to the receiving unit locations to act as the program office representative during the fielding process and conducting an on-site 100% inventory and functional check of all equipment as deemed necessary by the Program Manager and assigned Logisticians.
  • The contractor shall assist in the planning, organizing, conducting, and reporting the results of exercises and other events as designated.
  • The contractor shall support the development of test plans and collection of test data to support T&E activities.
  • The contractor shall identify, analyze, and report program risks specifically for program exercises, fielding and T&E activities.
  • The contractor shall possess specialized expertise in Radiological/Nuclear equipment, including but not limited to radiation detectors, spectroscopy systems, and radiation monitoring devices. Responsibilities will include the installation, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of such equipment.
  • The contractor shall have in-depth knowledge of Radiological/Nuclear safety protocols and regulations, with a focus on equipment usage and maintenance.
  • The contractor shall be responsible for utilizing prototype technologies, optimizing existing equipment, and providing technical support for radiation-based applications.
  • The contractor shall have practical experience in the operation, maintenance, and repair of Radiological/Nuclear equipment.
  • The contractor shall evaluate, define, analyze, and recommend strategies and potential equipment and/or systems to counter RN threats.
  • The contractor shall provide CBRN technical expertise, doctrinal and planning support, consequences of execution assessments, and CBRN hazard prediction analysis capabilities to determine worst-case and most likely effects.
  • The contractor shall integrate emerging CBRN technologies to augment systems under development.
  • The contractor shall perform requirements analysis and derive system performance specifications.
  • The contractor shall support the analysis and assessment of technologies and the ability to meet program requirements.
  • The contractor shall conduct on-site technical assessments and perform gap analysis.
  • The contractor shall attend meetings or discussions either in person, via telecon, or using Microsoft Teams if on-site gatherings and/or travel are restricted.

Qualifications

  • Requires a minimum SECRET level clearance.
  • The contractor shall possess a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Radiation Health Physics, Nuclear Engineering Technology, Nuclear Engineering, Emergency Management, Homeland Security or a related field.
  • The contractor shall consist of at least 7 years or relevant experience to the tasks listed below.
  • Candidate should possess technical competency in MS Outlook, MS Project, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and MS Word, SharePoint.
  • Candidate should be a superior writer, with the ability for critical thinking and clear communication, and experience in analysis, research, and strategy development.
  • Candidate should demonstrate ability to problem solve and work effectively with a team in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Information

The contractor will be expected to travel as part of their work duties (20-25% travel).

Work Location: Alexandria, VA - Hybrid Schedule
