Job Description

BryceTech is seeking a Program Analyst to provide in-office support for our NASA at the Langley Research Center. This role focuses on project management and coordination among multiple stakeholders. Candidates should be within commuting distance to Hampton, VA.

Project Management

  • Develop and maintain schedules including subtasks and milestones, prepare visual material and facilitate meetings.
  • Track deadlines and facilitate timely responses across geographically diverse teams.
  • Support proposal evaluation and selection by monitoring status, coordinating with reviewers to ensure timely completion. Document ranking criteria and assist in preparing selection meetings.
  • Review documents and slide decks for accuracy, clarity, and style.
  • Support the development of topics to be sponsored under competitive solicitations, including but not limited to requesting and integrating inputs from multiple stakeholders, and general editorial assistance.

Coordination:

  • Proactively develop relationships with relevant program personnel.
  • Attend in-person and virtual meetings with the customers program team and support/collaborate with sub-teams at different locations/offices.
  • Coordinate and facilitate meetings including taking notes and documenting actions during meetings. Prepare and distribute status reports, and follow-up on actions.
  • Communicate with stakeholders within and external to NASA. Including managing e-mail lists and initiating contact on behalf of NASA.
  • Track and synthesize inputs from multiple stakeholders to develop a cohesive consensus statement regarding a technology topic or policy.

Analysis:

  • Engage with technical stakeholders to develop technology portfolios based on agency priorities and mission needs.
  • Track the development of new technologies and coordinate with external partners to monitor project progress and technology integration/commercialization.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis using existing data sets to generate strategic insights and demonstrate investment outcomes and opportunities. Generate data products tailored to different costumers, including action officers, program managers, and SES briefings.

In/Out-Reach

  • Coordinate with program representatives within the center and at other program offices nationally.
  • Advocate for the use of contracting approaches with technical program offices and projects.
  • Provide recommendations and assist in the development of activities designed to increase awareness of and participation in program opportunities.
  • Provide consultation to NASA programs/projects and the Small Business community to increase awareness and participation in Post-Phase II opportunities.
  • As needed represent the civil servant lead at monthly meetings to ensure continued awareness of program opportunities and needs with other program offices and project leads. 
  • Facilitate development of partnerships with external parties and support public outreach events.
  • Engage with external partner firms to provide information about the program offices objectives as well as tutorials of software platforms utilized by external stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in administration, or STEM-related field
  • 6 years of relevant experience, experience supporting NASA is a plus.
  • Project Management experience is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Advanced Excel Skills
  • Aptitude for learning and using databases using graphical interfaces.
  • Science or engineering background (preferred)
  • Familiarity with competitive government procurement/acquisition processes.
