Bryant Staffing Solutions is Hiring a Nurse Practitioner, Palliative Care Near Dothan, AL

Title: Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner (NP)
Location: Dothan, Alabama
Status: Full-Time
Schedule: :Mon-Fri, 8AM-5PM
Travel: None required
Pay: To be discussed with Bryant Staffing Solutions Recruiter
Signing Bonus: $15,000 with a 1-year commitment
Caseload: 8-10 patients/day
Summary:
The certified registered nurse practitioner (CRNP) functions primarily as an advanced practice provider (APP) in the inpatient setting, co-managing and facilitating the daily care of acute and complex chronically ill patients from admission to discharge. Performs advanced and specialized nursing tasks, providing patient care and performing certain medical functions within the scope of the APP. Possesses a strong foundation in evidence-based practice and education and accepts the responsibility for providing an environment of safe, quality care. Demonstrates advanced medical and nursing knowledge, clinical and technical competence, sound clinical judgment, and professionalism regarding interpersonal and general communication skills. Performs timely and compliant documentation and takes responsibility for ongoing professional development and competency validation.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Active Alabama Certified RN Practitioner license (CRNP)
  • Minimum 1 year of Palliative Care or Hospice experience
  • BCLS & ACLS certifications
  • Passed the SAMC pharmacology exam
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Palliative care experience
  • Willing to obtain ACHPN certification
