Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Nursing for Surgical Services to oversee the 24-hour management of the OR, PACU, Outpatient Surgery, and other assigned departments, ensuring that the facility meets the established standard of care. The Director will be responsible for managing the delivery of care, maintaining quality standards, and providing leadership and guidance to the nursing staff.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the 24-hour operations of Surgical Services, including the OR, PACU, Outpatient Surgery, and other assigned departments, ensuring that the facility meets the established standard of care.

• Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, promoting a culture of excellence in patient care.

• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.

• Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient care outcomes.

• Monitor and evaluate the performance of the nursing staff, providing feedback and coaching as needed.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and requirements.

• Manage the department budget and resources effectively.

• Participate in the recruitment, hiring, and retention of nursing staff.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) preferred.

• Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience in Surgical Services.

• Minimum of five (5) years of progressive management experience in Surgical Services.

• Current RN license in the State of Nevada.

• CNOR certification preferred.

• Six Sigma credentials preferred.
