Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Healthcare Technology Management to lead our client's team in implementing and managing the corporate HTM program and services. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining the strategic direction of the HTM program, assessing technology needs, planning for medical device integration, managing operations, analyzing risks, ensuring security, managing vendors and contracts, overseeing fiduciary responsibilities, and providing required reporting. The Director will focus on delivering solutions that enhance patient safety and improve the overall patient experience at our facilities. Additionally, the Director will develop and motivate the HTM team, drive compliance with HTM and Corporate goals, strengthen facility and vendor relationships, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and direction for the implementation of the HTM program and services.

• Define the strategic direction of the HTM program through short and long-term goal setting, technology assessment and planning, medical device integration, operations, risk analysis, security, vendor and contract management, fiduciary responsibilities, and required reporting.

• Focus on delivering HTM program solutions that ensure all patients receive the safest and best possible experience.

• Create customized service delivery plans for and develop and motivate the HTM team at the assigned facility(ies).

• Drive compliance with HTM and Corporate goals and objectives.

• Assist HTM leadership with developing and strengthening facility(ies) and vendor relationships.

• Ensure that the facility(ies) program meets and exceeds regulatory requirements for healthcare technology management.

• Develop and execute KPIs.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Healthcare Technology Management, or related field required; Master's degree preferred.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare technology management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

• Certification in Healthcare Technology Management (CHTM) preferred.

• Experience with healthcare technology management programs including leadership.

• Knowledge of medical equipment (manufacturers, models, modalities, capital planning, etc.).

• Understanding of regulatory requirements for medical devices (CMS, TJC, CLIA, AABB, NRC, State, Local).

• Strong leadership and communication skills.

• Proven track record of managing budgets and resources effectively.

• Familiarity with regulatory standards and requirements for healthcare technology management.
