Bryant Park Dental is Hiring an Experienced Dental Assistant Near Fort Lee, NJ

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. If you have a passion for dentistry and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.

Duties:

- We have offices in NY and NJ. We are looking for a person can work in both locations.
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Take and develop dental X-rays
- Perform dental charting and documentation
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records
- Provide chairside assistance during procedures, including passing instruments, suctioning, and providing patient comfort
- Perform basic laboratory duties such as pouring impressions and trimming models

Experience:
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant required
- Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and materials
- Familiarity with medical coding and terminology
- Ability to accurately document medical information

Skills:
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, dentists, and other team members
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in using dental software for scheduling appointments and managing patient records
- Knowledge of medical imaging techniques for capturing dental X-rays

We offer competitive compensation based on experience.

Please note that all positions must be paid, including internship positions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week

Experience:

License/Certification:

  • X-Ray Certification (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

  • Fort Lee, NJ 07024 (Required)

Ability to Relocate:
