Dialysis Center of Lincoln NE is Hiring a Patient Care Technician Near Lincoln, NE

The Dialysis Center of Lincoln is hiring for a Patient Care Technician. No experience needed! We provide 12 weeks of on-the-job extensive training where you will gain the skills needed to care for patients. Providing dialysis care isn’t just a job, it’s giving life to our patients.
Our patient care technicians spend their days providing direct one on one patient care for up to 4 patients at a time. They monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatments including measuring and recording patients’ vital signs, patient observations, and machine setup. You will build long term relationships with your patients and your team.
Schedule
  • Shifts can begin as early as 4:30am.
  • Shift length is typically between 10-12 hours long
  • Most techs work 3-4 days a week
  • Clinics are closed on Sundays
  • Every other Saturday is required
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of facilities training program
  • Upon hire, placed as “active” on the Nebraska Dialysis Patient Care Technician Registry. Nebraska requirement is 19 years of age.
  • Obtain nation certification as a Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician through Nephrology Nursing Certification Commission (NNCC) within 18 months of being newly hired as dialysis patient care technician
  • Full vaccination against COVID-19 or a medical/religious exemption is required
