Part Time Weekend Property Maintenance

Division: RCS Construction (Piqua, OH)

About the position: We are currently seeking someone to assist us with maintenance of The Piqua Center - interior and exterior. This is a part time, first shift position. Our ideal applicant will be self-motivated and service oriented. We want someone that takes pride in their work because the results will be seen by the general public and our tenants. The ideal candidate will be mature, able to work independently, and someone we can rely on to prioritize and complete ever-changing tasks.

Hours:

• Fridays from Noon – 5:00pm
• Saturdays from 11:00am – 4:00pm
• Sundays from Noon – 5:00pm

Pay is negotiable depending on skillset and experience. Those with a “jack of all trades” skillset are ideal fits for this role.

Responsibilities Include:

• Minor electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and flooring repairs as needed based on skillset and ability.
• Cosmetic touch-ups to property
• Installation and removal of signage
• Remove cobwebs from buildings & structures
• Assisting with keeping property safe, clean and organized
• Lawn, flowerbed, shrubbery and tree care may include:
• Mowing
• Operating company vehicle and trailer to transport lawncare equipment
• Weed control
• Hedge clipping and pruning
• Apply fertilizers, herbicides and insecticides as needed according to product specifications
• Possibly mulching or assisting with mulching
• Possibly snow and ice removal depending on skillset and ability
• Provide general support to management as you grow in your experience
• Other duties as assigned by management

Essential knowledge, skills and abilities:

• Safety is paramount. Must have a safe driving and work history.
• Ability to operate company vehicles
• Knowledge of general property maintenance both interior and exterior
• Ability to prioritize tasks assigned while working independently
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds
• Self-motivated with a desire to grow with The Piqua Center
