Brugola OEB Industriale USA Inc. is Hiring a Quality Auditor/Inspector (3rd Shift) 10PM - 6AM Near Plymouth, MI

Job Purpose

The Quality Auditor is an enthusiastic, hardworking quality inspector with a good eye for detail. You will be responsible for performing standardized quality control checks on our company products to ensure they meet the required legal and company standards for safety and quality. You may also be required to maintain calibrated test equipment, prepare test data, and identify areas for quality control improvement.

To ensure success as a quality auditor/inspector you should have a strong working knowledge of mathematical concepts, excellent awareness, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Ultimately, a top-class quality inspector can efficiently monitor the integrity and quality of products without impeding production rates. Quality auditors are in charge of examining materials and products to check for flaws and deviations from original specifications. They have many responsibilities, including reading specifications and blueprints, making recommendations for adjustments to assembly and production processes, determining whether to accept or reject items, inspecting and testing materials and products, and reporting on inspection results.

About the Role

Quality auditors/inspectors in are responsible for:

Print Job documentation for Production, First-piece approvals for set up, Emulsion Test for Rolling, Defective sample testing for sorting process release, Non-conformances process for rejected product (system), Perform layered process audits, Promoting Process Improvement, Hands on with Product Audits, Other quality duties are required.

Quality audits are done to test products across the three stages of production (before, in-process, and final) to ensure quality levels are met.

Duties and responsibilities

· Monitor the production line and doing periodic Quality Control checks

· Implementing improvements to production processes that lead to overall increases in product quality

· Working together with project leaders to discuss solutions to quality issues

· Satisfying customer expectations about the product's quality

· Complying with ISO accreditation requirements

· Auditing to assure quality compliance are met

· Assessing the product's quality by testing for a range of features and seeing how the product performs under stresses like impact, temperature, humidity, etc.

· Assist in Customer complaints management and related problem solving, with the plant team (containment, root cause analysis, countermeasures definition and implementation)

· Internal nonconformity management and related problem solving: containment actions, root cause analysis and countermeasures definition for all internal quality issues. Scraps management.

· Supports suppliers’ process audits

· To Print Job documentation for Production

· First piece approvals for set up

· In-process inspection checks, documenting results by completing reports and logs, summarizing scrap, inputting data into database

· Internal nonconformities documentation, follow and closure

· Performing Testing for product and process conformance on laboratory equipment

· Tracking, maintaining and calibrating inspection equipment/gauges

· Responsible to fill out and complete the daily shift report

· Performing layered process audits

· Promoting Process Improvement

· Hands on with Product Audits

· To manage product and process checks on heading, rolling, sorting, rolling, heading and packaging operations with a defined frequency

· To control incoming material (raw material, parts from external heat treatment and surface coating)

· Gages management (identification, calibration before due deadline and transfers in and out the lab)

· Management of the NOK reference samples used on sorting machines (controls and transfers in and out the lab)

· Non-conformity management (both internal & external)

· To complete and fill out the quality shift report for all areas of production

· Inventory management of the quarantine area

· Capability analysis management

· Perform Duties as assigned

Qualifications

· Degree in science, technology or related field

· Strong critical thinking skills

· Use of basic inspection tools; calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, ring gauges

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

· Ability to speak persuasively and listen effectively

· Ability to proficiently operate a computer, specifically Microsoft Office suite

· Quarta 3, SPS, SAP, BEON (VW System), SIM (Ford System)

· Complying with ISO accreditation requirements

· Continuing education on newly developing Quality Control techniques

· Analytical and problem-solving skills

· Knowledge of fasteners is preferred

· Attention to detail

· Knowledge of basic math and computer skills

· Ability to influence others to follow rules and regulations

· Verbal and written communication skills

· Able to work independently but also having a teamwork mentality

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
