Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team in Ridgefield, VA. The ideal candidate will assist our dental professionals in providing high-quality care to our valued patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist dentists during procedures by anticipating their needs and maintaining a sterile and organized environment
  • Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments following established protocols
  • Take and develop dental X-rays (if certified)
  • Perform office duties such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records
  • Educate patients on proper dental hygiene and post-treatment care
  • Uphold infection control protocols and ensure compliance with safety regulations

Requirements:

  • Dental Assistant certification or relevant experience preferred
  • X-ray certification (if applicable)
  • Proficiency in dental software systems (preferred but not required; training provided)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and empathy towards patients
