We are seeking a professional Senior Advanced Electrical Design Engineer to assume a key role in helping Rocky Research, which is our wholly owned subsidiary of Honeywell, support directed energy projects for the military. You will design, analyze (including thermal considerations), simulate, and test power conversion circuitry . You will utilize any standard power conversion topologies such as (buck, boost, Full-Bridge Phase Shift ZVT), input and output filtering, analog circuits such as amplifiers, and pre-charge circuits.
You will also design assemblies with wiring harnesses and work closely with 3D CAD designers on placement and layout of electrical components such as contactors, off-the-shelf power supplies, terminal blocks, etcetera. You will design requirements to meet system needs. You will work with technical subject matter experts to derive performance requirements.
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S.

Salary Range: $109,000 to $163,000
