Browne Trading Market is seeking a team-oriented retail sales associate to join our team!

In operation for over 30 years, Browne Trading Market is a gourmet food market specializing in fresh fish, caviar, smoked seafood, wine, cheese, and gourmet products from around the world. We import these products from all over the globe as well as produce some of them right here at our Commercial Street location. We offer custom fish cutting, friendly and knowledgeable staff, diverse and premium product selection, and a small take-out food menu.

The market is currently open seven days per week into early evening.

Duties Include: Cutting fish, handling fresh seafood, using the scale, using a POS system to check out customers, carrying totes of ice and fish, cleaning the fish cases at the end of the shift, cutting cheese, facing, and restocking product, general cleaning, and operations of the store.

Experience: Prefer food related retail experience. Seafood and wine experience are a plus!

We are willing to train the right individual. This is a customer facing position, you will be dealing with customers directly. If you love food, are team oriented and organized, and enjoy talking to people, we would like to talk to you.

Job Types: Seasonal, Part-time, Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $19.50 per hour
