LONG TERM MAINTENANCE PROJECT - NO PER DIEM
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled General Maintenance worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in various maintenance tasks and possess strong mechanical knowledge.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and inventory
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify and address maintenance issues promptly
- Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand and power tools
- Supervise maintenance staff and contractors when necessary
- Read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- Weld, fabricate, and assemble structures as needed
Skills:
- Proficiency in English for effective communication with team members and vendors
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment
- Electrical skills to handle wiring, circuits, and electrical components
- Experience in supervising maintenance tasks and coordinating schedules
- Familiarity with reading schematics and technical drawings
- Ability to weld and fabricate metal structures
- Customer service orientation when interacting with internal stakeholders
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance best practices
