POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

Provide support to Management of a multimillion-dollar business unit, with a focus on delivering an exceptional customer experience. Product Management is responsible for managing the product(s) throughout the Product Lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements. It also includes working with marketing, merchandising, and store operations to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.

People Skills:

  • Customer service focused, friendly, willing to talk to all customers
  • Effective verbal communication skills
  • Maintain a professional appearance, demeanor, and attitude at all times

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Assist in maintaining the Point-Of-Sales system database
  • Create sales tags based on marketing timeline
  • Add new items to system based on needs of Merchandising Department
  • Ensure pricing for retail and purchasing is accurate for all products
  • Review monthly price guides and work with vendors to update files
  • Assist Finance Department with cost and retail related reporting
  • Perform general database maintenance and reporting
  • Other duties as assigned

Regulatory Adherence:

  • Ensure that OHS, LP, other regulatory requirements and procedures are implemented and adhered to
  • Ensure AMCO and other government guidelines are met
  • Adheres to all Brown Jug and Afognak policies, with a focus on Social Responsibility
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Work Experience:

  • Minimum, 1-year experience in retail (preferred, not required)

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Basic Excel knowledge

  • Detail oriented
  • Organization and time management skills
